Trial Results

In early studies Wound Solutions showed closure in hard-to-heal ulcer patients (Baltimore Study, 2005). Based on these results, we have conducted the second-largest study into venous leg ulcers (n=150). This trial, a randomised, sham controlled, parallel-group, multicentre, group-sequential trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the VS-01 device to promote healing of venous ulcers of the lower extremity commenced in 2008 and Wound Solutions expect final results to be available in 2011.
